About Fromm Family Pet Food
Fromm Family Foods is a fifth-generation family-owned-and-operated pet food company based in Wisconsin. Since 1904, their family has maintained a tradition of quiet innovation dedicated to the health and nutrition of animals. In the 1930s, they even developed the first canine distemper vaccine! By 1949, they had introduced the concept of premium pet food to the world by pioneering the process of cooking meat and grain together to create the dry kibble food that is so popular today.
Fromm owns and operates two dry food and treat manufacturing facilities in Mequon, WI and Columbus, WI, as well as wet food cannery in Eden, WI. Every bag and can of Fromm dog and cat food originates from one of these facilities. Owning and operating their own plants allows for full control over the quality and safety of the products they produce. This encompasses everything including, sanitation and pest control, facility maintenance, employee training, sourcing of ingredients, in-house lab analysis, preparation of meat and produce, formulation and blending, processing, packaging, warehousing, and distribution.
Dry Kibble
Variety is the spice of life, and Fromm Family Pet Food has got every type of dry kibble a dog could need. The Hipster Hound carries Fromm dry kibble for each life stage: puppy, adult, and senior. They even offer food based on breed size (small, medium, large, and giant) and special attributes like weight control, grain-free, or grain-inclusive. Whatever dietary requirements your dog has, Fromm has a kibble for that!
But don’t forget all the flavors to choose from: beef, chicken, duck, goose, lamb, pheasant, pork, quail, rabbit, salmon, tuna, turkey, venison, and whitefish. Any dog would have a hard time picking between all those options!
Pâté
The Hipster Hound knows that a lot of dogs like a tasty food topper like pate, and Fromm Family Pet Food makes the tastiest! With flavors like beef, chicken, lamb, salmon, and seafood, even the pickiest pup will gobble this right up! And all Fromm pâté is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages, including growth of large size dogs.
Treats
And finally, any dog would be happy with some extra treats on the side! The Hipster Hound is proud to carry Fromm Family Pet Food treats like the Lamb & Cranberry or Liver varieties. And then there’s Fromm’s Crunchy O’s CheesePlosions treats with a cheesy BLAST of flavor that I simply cannot resist. At around 12 calories per treat, any dog can indulge a little!
